Citroën | Facebook Social Community | Launch and Growth
The brief was to launch this challenger brand officially on Australian social media. We quickly identified that Facebook should be the first channel to launch, given the target audience were slightly older and (more interestingly) there were unofficial Citroën fan pages already in existence.
Rather than competing with these unofficial Facebook groups, we contacted them and involved their communities in the setup of the official page, collaborating on the content they wanted to see and the topics they wanted to discuss.
My role in the project was to create the outreach and launch strategy, both proving highly successful - within 6 weeks the new official page had the highest engagement rate in the country for the automotive sector.
